SPX partnered with Proper Hospitality and Kelly Wearstler to deliver a hotel gym that fuses world-class fitness function with one of the most recognized design signatures in hospitality. Custom branded rigs, diamond-stitched leather upholstery, and a dedicated Pilates studio bring performance and elegance together under one roof.
Gurney's Resorts Montauk
A 5,000 SF oceanfront fitness center designed to mirror the resort's serene coastal environment. SPX specified clear-coated steel equipment with custom Italian leather upholstery and Bentley stitching. Branded dumbbells and urethane plates carry Gurney's identity throughout the space, creating a fully branded guest fitness experience with Atlantic Ocean views.
1 Hotel West Hollywood
SPX designed the Fieldhouse fitness center at 1 Hotel West Hollywood, located on the iconic Sunset Strip at the base of the Hollywood Hills. Aligned with 1 Hotels' nature-first philosophy and LEED Silver certification, the 24-hour gym integrates biophilic design elements, sustainable materials, and high-performance equipment. The space reflects the Southern California landscape through natural tones, native greenery, and floor-to-ceiling light.
